White River Academy was originally founded in Puerto Rico in 2002, and later relocated to Delta, Utah, to better serve its mission in a stable, small-town setting. The move allowed the school to expand its therapeutic model and build deeper connections with the local community. Over the years, the Academy has developed a reputation for blending clinical expertise with a nurturing, positive peer culture that encourages long-term change. Its growth reflects a commitment to helping young men not only recover from past challenges but also develop the resilience and skills needed for a successful future.

White River Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for adolescent males that provides a structured environment combining academic instruction with comprehensive therapeutic support. The school specializes in helping young men ages 12-18 who are struggling with issues such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral addictions, and substance abuse. With a low student-to-staff ratio, White River Academy offers individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapies, academic guidance, and character-building activities. A strong emphasis is placed on emotional growth, accountability, and family involvement, with students also engaging in meaningful community service as part of their personal development.
