Camp Oakhurst, established in 1906, is operated by New York Service for the Handicapped (NYSH), an independent non-profit social service agency with offices in New York City and Oakhurst, New Jersey.

Program Highlights:

The program, which runs on school days from 2:00 - 6:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am - 6:00pm, serves individuals with various special needs, including autism. We provide one-way transportation from the individual's school to our facility in Oakhurst. Parents/guardians are responsible for picking their child up from our facility at the end of the program each day. The cost is $10.00 per hour and $15.00 per hour if one-on-one support staff is needed. We can accommodate 12 participants and spaces are filling up!

Support Services:

1:1 support is available at a rate of $15.00 per hour.

Homework help is available, and children have access to adapted recreational activities, including arts and crafts, music and drama, media arts, and of course sports and general recreation.
