Setting:
Design Camp offers the chance to learn about the design professions through hands-on projects, tours, presentations and discussions led by architecture, landscape architecture and interior design faculty of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas. Students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty and collaborate with peers in a fun and creative studio environment as they explore the design process.
Design Camp will be offered in five locations in June, with three distinct sessions in Fayetteville:
University of Arkansas, Fayetteville; Arkansas Studies Institute, Little Rock; South Arkansas Arts Center, El Dorado; Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs; and The Delta School, Wilson.

Sketching, model building, site visits, tours of local architecture, interaction with professional design firms.
Additional Information:
At each day camp session, students will have the chance to learn about design professions through hands-on projects, discussions, and tours led by the architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design faculty of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. Students will have the opportunity to practice the design process while working closely with faculty and collaborating with peers in a fun and creative studio environment. We are offering two different weeklong camps on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, during which students will also have the option to stay overnight in a campus residence hall. New this year, we also are offering a two-week-long residential Immersive Camp for more experienced designers.
