School History:
Sun Valley Charter School was founded in 2009 by Dr. Tanae Morrison. The original location was in Laveen, Arizona. After much growth, Sun Valley Charter School moved to a newly constructed stand alone school in the South Mountain Village community and changed our name to Sun Valley Academy. In July 2020, Sun Valley Academy will open a second school in Avondale.
