Sports: hiel College is a Division III school and a member of the President's Athletic Conference. Here, the "student" in student-athlete does more than merely precede "athlete". They are respected for managing rigorous academic challenges and meeting the demands of highly competitive athletic programs. This balancing act requires time management skills, careful planning and a strong sense of values, yet it is accomplished every year. Thiel is especially proud to be a college where students can compete and succeed in athletics as well as become involved in other areas of the college community. Involvement in Greek life, student government, residence life and other clubs and organizations help to further develop the important qualities of the student-athlete's character. At Thiel, we believe that the athletic arena is merely an extension of the classroom and we are committed to helping each of our student-athletes reach their full potential as individuals, as students and as athletes. It is this process and balance that will prepare our young men and women to make "Big Plays" on the athletic fields now, but more importantly they will be able to make "Big Plays" in their families, in their churches and in their communities later in life.
