School History: The Rhoades School was founded in 1980 by Charlotte Rhoades-Glinski. Dr. Glinski’s experience and wisdom as an educator and a national figure in gifted education led her to envision a school specifically designed to meet the needs of gifted children. In the spring of 1980, she brought her talents, passion, and three students together to begin our unique school. By the fall of 1981, the school had grown to eighteen students, and the rest is history!
