School History:

APA is the first Islamic school in Austin. In 1997, the Austin muslim community established Austin Peace Academy (formerly Peace Elementary School).

Started with 15 students in PRe-K and KG, student enrollment has increased by 10% year-over-year since its founding.

In 2007, APA was accredited by SACS-CASI, the largest accrediting agency in the world.

In 2008, APA expanded into the High School, with starting of the 9th grade.
