Mission of the Mountainburg School District
The mission of the Mountainburg School District is to provide a safe and secure learning environment that enables all students to attain their full potential. The District will strive to provide the leadership and services necessary for a well developed educational program that promotes higher order thinking skills in literacy, math, and technology with the teaching and resources necessary to allow the students to compete successfully in the twenty-first century.

Demographics:

Mountainburg is a Rural School District encompassing 197 square miles surrounded by the Boston Mountains. We have a school population of 700 students in grades K-12th.

Organization Goals: To improve instructional strategies and promote learning at each school.
Scholastic Perfomance: Currently, we meet state standards on every EOC and Benchmark Exam except for Eleventh Grade Literacy Exam-School Improvement year 1.
