Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare, located in Staunton, Va., provides trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment for young men. Our continuum of care is intended to meet the needs of adolescent males, ages 13 to 21, who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties. Programs are specifically designed for youth with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring intellectual disabilities. We also specialize in working with young men who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Students graduate from the school they would be attending were they not in mental health treatment. IEP's are course work are done collaboratively with the home school; implemented at Liberty Point.

Admissions Requirements:

Ages 12 to 18; if a resident when they turn 18, they may stay until their 22nd birthday. Grades served are grades 6-12 (only Junior High and Senior High.
