Your American Cancer Society offers programs and services to cancer patients. We also offer information to anyone with questions or concerns about cancer. We have many volunteer opportunities for groups and individuals who would like to help us fight cancer.
Events:
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - Teams are forming for a 5 mile walk on October 17 at Yeatman's Cove in Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity for groups or individuals to make a difference.
Road to Recovery - Your American Cancer Society is always looking for people who would like to volunteer to take patients to cancer treatment. Time committment would be about 2 hours per week and all volunteers would have to pass a motor vehicle check.
Road to Recovery Coordinator - This volunteer job involves scheduling volunteer drivers to take patients to cancer treatment. Time committment would be 5 hours per week.
Look Good Feel Better - We are looking for cosmetologists who are willing to give 2 hours per month to show cancer patients how to enhance their appearance with makeup. Patients are given a kit of makeup worth over $20.
