Mission Statement:
The mission of The Arc of Montgomery County is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with lifelong opportunities to live, learn, work and play with dignity, freedom and full inclusion in the community.

Every person has value, every person has dreams, every person has the right to choices, every person should be a part of his or her community.
Program History:
The Arc of Montgomery County was founded in 1958 by a group of parents who started a day program for their children with disabilities. As the years progressed, the parents' group became more visible and active on disability issues. Today, The Arc of Montgomery County has programs for children and adults, residential and vocational. We serve over 2,500 individuals and families each year.
Events:
Annual Casino Night fundraising event; fall Book Sale, summer Junior Volunteers Program.
Additional Information:
