Philosophy/Belief Statement:

I envisioned a world where punishment would endure only for the duration of the pronounced sentence as given by the courts upon conviction. I envisioned that once the sentence is carried out, an ex-offender will truly become an "ex-offender" once he has decided to change and demonstrated the willingness to participate in the society with greater conviction. I envisioned a world where the baggage of the past will not become a burden of the future. I envisioned a world where each ex-offender would be judged by the desire to contribute to the society post correction and not by their previous record. I envisioned a world where Striking through the Circle of Recidivism will be done with Action and Care. I envisioned. Can YOU envision?

Program History:

Though program was officially started in September 2010, it has been long time coming. It was the dream of the Executive Director to start and operate a program that can assist the ex-offender population with a measurable goal in mind with each individual accepted into the program. Jon has a degree in Criminal Justice and decided earlier on to be on the rehabilitation side of justice than the punishment environment vis-à-vis corrections.
After his military experience, Jon started planning on how to establish the program and it became clear in 2010 that non-profit is the best way to go.
