Join the San Diego River Park Foundation in caring for this 52 acre urban open space park in the heart of Mission Valley through a native planting event to restore the habitat. We need your help to plant 400 beneficial native plants along the river habitat. Volunteers should wear their gardening clothes and be prepared to get dirty! Bring plenty of water to drink and your own gloves if you have a favorite pair, otherwise, we’ll provide all the tools, plants and equipment including gloves. Space is limited for this special planting event so RSVP’s are required. Light rain does not cancel, community service hours can be verified. A signed waiver is required. Please contact Shannon@sandiegoriver.org to RSVP or call 619-297-7380.
