Mission Statement:

Southwest Georgia Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. is founded on the belief that experiencing therapy through the use of riding horses in a safe, compassionate, and challenging environment can significantly develop and improve the lives of individuals who are challenged in many ways be it physical, emotional, or the result of a traumatic injury.

Our goal is to bring horse, rider, and the community together to share in an extraordinary experience which this type of therapy can make happen- be it just having a child smile.

Philosophy/Belief Statement:

We attempt to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special needs.

Program History:

We have been serving several communities for the last 12 years and hope to continue for many to come.
