JUNIOR VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVE
Volunteers will assist staff in various departments at the St. Cloud Hospital. Volunteers will serve as a representative of the hospital while learning valuable job and personal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Attend daily Junior Volunteer meeting at 4:00 pm
· Work with team members to ensure completion of all tasks
· Follow evening checklist throughout shift
· Complete other duties as assigned
· Duties include: flower and patient mail deliveries, filing and other clerical duties, special projects
· Additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Junior Volunteer should have physical ability to perform all duties involved.
· Junior Volunteer should be pleasant and open to various assignments
· Junior Volunteer should be dedicated and able to come for assigned shift
· Junior Volunteer should be able to work independently and have good people skills
· Junior Volunteer should have firm understanding of confidentiality
EXPECTATIONS
· Attend meetings, complete orientation, education and training as it pertains to the assignment.
· Abide by all hospital policies including confidentiality and customer service.
· Follow Dress Code Policy and wear ID badge at all times.
