"The English Language Academy was a perfect opportunity to improve my English in a friendly atmosphere and small group setting. I enjoyed the variety and usefulness of the courses and meeting new friends from all over the world. The instructors were great, always open to helping me even if it was not related to my course work. The time I spent in the program is unforgettable." -- Cvetanka / Bulgaria

"ELA classes gave me a lot of self-confidence. I enjoyed learning English through the discussions with wonderful instructors and classmates from various countries." -- Irina / Russia

"We just wanted to thank you. Mateo and Macarena had a great time! They now feel more confident to speak, and they met people from a lot of countries, and different cultures. They made friends from all over the world. Definitely 3 weeks that they won't forget! Summer Junior Program 2017 -- Paloma / Mexico

"Attending the ELA helped me to improve my skills in Academic Writing. I enjoyed the instructors and being a part of the program." -- Andry / Switzerland

"After taking classes at the University of San Diego, I improved on my TOEFL test. The grammar we learned was very helpful, as was the information about how to do a Power Point Presentation. This presentation helped me improve my speaking skills and my oral presentation skills in the classroom. I will be teaching in English soon, so I will do whatever I have to do to reach my objective. Thank you, professors, for all of your help." -- Ana / Mexico

"From my perspective, the summer program was such a great experience, not only because of the academic content but because of the whole experience of living for one month in the U.S. This program gave us a chance to improve our English skills, and to meet new and interesting people. The USD facilities are great, and the professors have a lot of knowledge and personal skills to work with the group. This program was a great formative experience which every professor should be able to live at least once in a lifetime. Actually, I think two times would be better!" -- Alejandro / Spain
