Extracurricular Activities: Extracurricular activities are done daily except Friday. The students can participate in two activities on a daily basis. The first hour includes clubs based in culture, language, art, music drama, games, academic (MUN, SAT and homework), or intramural sports. In the second hour, ISL competitive sports team practice and compete in netball, football, basketball, swimming, cross country, volleyball, track and field, and hockey.

School History:
International School of Lusaka (ISL), founded in 1963, is one of the oldest International Schools on the continent of Africa. The school has about 660 students from over 50 different nationality groups. The teaching staff consists of 58 professional educators from 15 countries.
The School is governed by a Board of Governors, who are elected by the ISL Association. The Association is composed of the parents of students attending ISL.
The administration of the School is directed by the Head of School, who is supported by the Secondary Principal, Primary Principal and the Finance Manager.
