Service Description: Advocacy for children and adults with intellectual disabilities
Mission Statement:
To secure for all people with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live, work, play, and worship; to reduce the incidence and limiting the consequences of cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities through education, research, advocacy, and the support of families, friends and community; through the pursuit of equality and justice, to provide leadership in the field of cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities and to develop the necessary human and financial resources to attain its goals.
Membership Fee: $20.00/annually
Eligibility Requirements: Anyone commited to the Mission of The Arc
Area Served: State of Alabama
Hours of Operation/Schedule: 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. daily, except holidays
