Description:
White Sands Missile Range is the site of the world's first atomic explosion- the birth of the nuclear age- and man's first journey beyond the Earth's atmosphere- the birth of the space age. The Museum explores these modern events and the history of testing, plus pre-cultural and natural history of the Tularosa basin
