Has written several articles on a host of subjects related to Down syndrome, parenting, athletics, and fatherhood, as well as contributing author of “Family Makers” book published in 2003. Has developed and lead Workshops for both corporate and non-profit organizations on a multitude of subjects. Also, delivered motivational speeches’ specializing in learning methodology, fatherhood, and creating successful classroom environments for special needs children. Fourteen years of college teaching experience, and currently a consultant in the proprietary educational market. Jenni Von Tobel: Manager of an Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD). She has been working with individuals with disabilities for the past 10 years. She is a liason between State agencies and guardians in her role of adovcating for individuals with diabilities. Jenni also works with residents who have Down Syndrome as well as a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease. She has plans to write a book about the spiritual development of individuals with developmental disabilities. She holds a degree in HealthCare Administration. Her husband and her plan to adopt children with Down Syndrome. Craig Stellpflug: is a Neuro Development Consultant specializing in brain disorders and traumatic brain injuries. Craig has lectured extensively on many subjects including neuro-education and brain disorders. He is currently living in Mesa Arizona and serving on the board of directors for Woman and Cancer Fund. He has authored several books on varied subjects including his latest tome of poetry called "Ravings of a Sane Man". Kristin Meier: teaches high school English. She has a Masters of Religious Studies from the University of Chicago Divinity School and a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from George Mason University. She has taught English and ESL for 7 years and is currently on leave to care for her two marvelous children, one of whom has Down syndrome. |
