The Scholars Academy for the Gifted and Artistically Elite’s mission is to collaborate with families to learn about the educational and humanistic desires of each scholar; to work to innovate creative pedagogical solutions to support shared goals utilizing our hallmark blended learning framework with myriad curricular resources; while balancing on our three pillars of future readiness; social-emotional, 21st Century, and advanced science lab skills to facilitate character growth and learning through personalized teaching, tutoring, and dispositional support.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
The purpose of Scholars Academy for the Gifted is to provide research-based, quality, engaging teaching and learning experiences in a dynamic, rich, varied learning environment. Our teachers facilitate close-knit, teacher-led, classroom sessions with small groups of students in-person, in nature, and virtually, throughout the school year, balanced with self-paced opportunities for acceleration in key content areas.
