Tuition:
Must be a Minnesota resident for tuition free admission. Out-of-state residents must pay tuition.
Curriculum:
Elementary: Students engage in their learning through Stride/K12 for many core subjects, Mystery Science, and Lakeville teacher-created content in SeeSaw.
Families have the option of an asynchronous or synchronous model for learning. Specials include: art, music, physical education. Fifth graders are invited to participate in band. Spanish is an optional offering for third through fifth grade.
Secondary: Courses align with state and district learning outcomes. Graduating students choose to receive a diploma from Lakeville North or Lakeville South High School. Link12 Lakeville offers full-time and part-time enrollment options for students.

Support Services:
K-12 Counselor and Secondary Academic Support teachers. We also offer onsite secondary academic support opportunities.
System Requirements:
Students need both a device and an Internet connection in order to access their coursework, submit assignments and complete assessments. Devices are provided on loan by the district to all LinK12 students. Parents/Guardians will need to complete the iPad Request form. This process will occur once the enrollment process is complete. Internet access is the responsibility of the student and family, whether that be at home, the library or other locations.

LinK12 Lakeville is offered through Lakeville Area Schools and provides students with the support they need to excel in a virtual school setting. We recognize that the best education doesn’t always take place in a physical classroom.

How Does It Work?
LinK12 Lakeville is a statewide, public school for families and students looking for anytime, anywhere learning that includes individualized instruction, flexibility in pace and schedule, responsiveness to learning styles and self-selection of learning environment. We offer full-time and part-time enrollment options. Even though students learn outside of a school building, they will receive a high quality educational experience that meets and/or exceeds the state and local standards. Our classes are taught by Lakeville Area Public Schools teachers. LinK12 Lakeville also follows all of the Minnesota Department of Education public school requirements, including reporting and testing. Students in LinK12 Lakeville will take state tests in the spring, along with all other public school students.
LinK12 offers social opportunities, monthly events, field trips, morning meetings, Social Emotional Learning through the Character Strong curriculum.
