Mr. Corchnoy is the principal of the Law Offices of Jonathan S. Corchnoy; a boutique firm that concentrates its practice in civil litigation and more specifically in the sub-fields of special education, incapacity and personal injury/insurance litigation law; and is the father of a special needs child. Mr.Corchnoy devotes approximately two-thirds of his practice to representing children with special education needs. Over the years, he has been an active Presenter and member for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Exceptional Children’s Committee for approximately twelve years. He has presented for Lorman’s Education services. He presented at COPAA’s National Conference in 2015. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s School Law Committee, including itssubcommittee to help streamline NJ’s Special Education due process procedures without sacrificing parties’ substantive Due Process rights. In 2016, he presented "FAPE and Mental Health - Where Does a School District's Responsibility Begin and End?" at Lehigh University's 44th Special Education Law Conference.
