Inspiring success through online learning. Excel High School’s mission is to empower students of every age and circumstance to achieve their academic goals through flexible, self-paced, accredited online learning, affordable monthly tuition, and a supportive online environment.

We believe in meeting students where they are. Rather than forcing students to adapt to a system that does not fit them, Excel High School builds a flexible learning environment around each student’s needs so they can grow and succeed on their own terms. Our vision is to become the nation’s leading online high school by continually innovating, embracing emerging technologies such as AI-powered tutoring, expanding access to more students, and investing in the growth of our staff and educators.

In 2018, Excel earned College Board AP certification and system-wide accreditation. In 2019, Excel Education Systems acquired Washington Technical Institute, adding career-focused certificate programs. In 2024, the school achieved SOC 2 compliance certification. In 2026, Excel High School earned Cognia School of Distinction status for its seven-year accreditation cycle, valid through 2032.
