LAAPA School of Music & Dance is a division of the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts with three campuses in the Greater New Orleans and Northshore areas in Jefferson and St. Tammany parishes.
Originally founded in 1978, the Academy is now in its 48th year of providing students of all ages with a lifetime appreciation for music, dance, acting, and the performing arts here in Covington, Mandeville, and New Orleans Louisiana.
Instruments taught: piano, voice, guitar, violin, drums, singing, cello, bass, viola, ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, hip hop, modern, rock band, jazz band, composition, ballet, toddler classes, music theory, film and more!
